Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work, it's very humbling that you’re interested in my creative output. I'm a painter based in Stockwell, South London. I mainly work in oils and on canvas and love painting abstracts and portraits. In 2012 I finally realized a dream and built a studio at the bottom of my garden when the pictures you see here were painted.
I’m especially interested in exciting contemporary work and new ideas but love the work of any artists who inspires feeling in me; I have a very emotional response to paintings, more so than to anything else in life. Of the famed artists I'm in love with the work of Francis Bacon and Picasso never ceases to amaze and delight. I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings.

These are oil paintings on an unprimed linen canvas which has a resin coating. The method used to produce this work is very labour intensive; the paint is built up layer by layer which when dry is often sanded back and then re-applied. It took weeks to produce and to get right. I use a professional resin specialist who achieves a perfect glass like finish making the colours glorious and vibrant. The resin is the finest quality which doesn’t discolour with time. I use the finest quality Michael Harding oil paints which have a very high concentration of pigment making the colours vibrant and fresh.
