Extensions - 24/11/11
A big thank you to all of those who attended the private view on the 24th November, it wasa pleasure to see you there and meet you all!
Joanna's furry friends, our little mothlings, really stole the show with their endearing and wonderful ways!
We had a special guest appearance from Edward Lucie-Smith who has written some fabulous literature including Art Today: From
Abstract Expressionism to Superrealism (1977) (a classic). He popped by to see Daniel Bourke beautiful oil paintings.

Ben Gooding's metal and Perspex works mesmerized the crowd with its meditative allure were situated upstairs along with Daniel Bourke's beautiful photo realistic oil paintings incorporating the contemporary and technological edge of life today. Their pieces where subtly joined by the work of Rachel Daniel who also conjures a juxtaposition with the classic vision of our internal system combined with the new scientific technologies of today.
Downstairs played host to the subconscious works of Daniel Earey and his forced collaboration with our subconscious characters; Aman Sagoo's intricate cell like beings merging nature and mechanics; Elaine Johnson's beautifully weaved human hair and lace pieces depicting a relationship between industry and beauty and Joanna's, well I shall let her tell you in her own words in the next blog....stay tuned!
