Tell us, what is art pie all about?
Documenting and sharing the creativity I come across in London and beyond. And most recently work with emerging artists and helping them get discovered by putting on shows where they would be featured.
What inspired you to start art pie, and what is the ethos behind it?
Art-Pie started online as a single page blog about 3 years ago. I was already going to many art shows across London as well as appreciating more and more street and urban art and culture. This is also at that time that I got into web design and development and it became obvious that given my ability to design and build websites, I should document what I was seeing in all these museums, galleries and in the streets: www.artpie.co.uk was born.
Art-Pie has now grown into something slightly bigger and has even an online shop. More recently, at the present time actually, Art-Pie got involved with curating art shows and intend to carry on going down that route where emerging artists are at the forefront of the whole idea and concept.
