In typical British fashion, I am going to talk to you about the weather, and just let you know that this weekend is a mix of rain and slight warmth. So get out and create your own sunshine with out top 5 London exhibitions.

 

Roadz 

Oil painter of urban beauty, Andrea Tyrimos first UK solo show is coming to Curious Duke Gallery this June. Her paintings that depict emerging light from Notting Hill carnival, urban lifestyles and her Brick project that has gained attention from the likes of Idris Elba and director of 24 John Cassar.

Artist Sean Edwards creates small scale sculptures that suggest an archive of large plans. These components come together in this exhibition to form a world of tiny worlds, or rather visitors who become giants.

This solo exhibition of the British sculptors work focuses on his materiality. You will find works in silk, marble, wood and porcelain, with his Seven Odd Chalks taken pride of place, with new worlds focusing on cloth and mohair.

Ancient and Modern present work by Jan Pleitner and Lee Lozano. Plietner's paintings will sit amongst Lozano's drawings from the 1960s, which saw the end of practice in 1971. Interestingly Plietner's paintings are often completed within on night as speed and style become a performance.
