Where do you live: I am from Brisbane Australia, currently living in Oxford for a while.
Where did you study: I did an advanced certificate in Fine Arts in Perth Australia in 1994, but you forget all that and then teach yourself what you need to work with ..and how to do it :).
Life ambition: The freedom to continue to work as a full time professional .. and to be happy.
What can you tell us about your artistic practice?
I am a prolific maker of beautiful things, mostly on paper, and mostly figurative at the moment. I love to use different mediums to capture that beauty. I am currently working with inks and charcoals as my thing. I have a curiosity in trying to relate to and produce a convincing emotion with each one. And to chase down what makes something beautiful- is it the line? Colour? Is it the intensity? The softness? The narrative? that's generally my motivation.
