What can you tell us about your artistic practice?
To me art is a study of existence and experiences from everyday life. I focus on spaces in the environment that mean nothing and everything, creating something unique and open for interpretation. I don't want my landscapes to only represent one place, I want the viewer to be able to find their own memories within them.
Colour has always been important in my paintings, and many of my paintings have been purely about colour, representing nothing more than the colour and movement of the paint.
Choose one word:
Grotesque or beautiful? Beautiful.
Urban or surreal? Surreal.
Planned or spontaneity? Spontaneous.

Thanks Emma!
