Secret Art Prize/ People's Choice Award 2014
The prize that celebrates the beauty and craft of surreal and urban art may have chosen the overall winner for Secret Art Prize, but did you know about the People's Choice Award?
The panel of judges; BBC 6 radio representer Mary-Anne Hobbs, Susan Mumford, art critic Tabish Khan, WXSP organiser and artist Teddy Baden, I Know What I Like founder Sabina Andron, and Barbican Centre's Daniela Feta whittled the 130 applicants to 10. But there remains one place left in the winners show this September. Who should it go to?
Now it is your turn to turn judge! All you have to do is scroll through the entries here and chose the artwork that you feel stands out as the your favourite. Why not set your won criteria for choosing? You could set a bar that asked for bright and colourful, another that must be figurative, or maybe you need art to be playful. You could even take on a Eurovision mode of voting with your friends.
All votes must be cast by 19th August 2014. You will find collage, portraiture, drawing and photography, but who will you vote for?
