Life ambition: To make a living from this madness

 

What can you tell us about your artistic practice?

It's a jumble of my love of Berkoff, surrealism DADA, The Slits, The Jabberwocky, Viktor and Rolf, Radiohead, Meyerhold, Nancy Spero, Bjork, Alexander McQueen, Linder, The Labyrinth, John Stezaker, Alice in Wonderland and a hint of JAM.

 

What does the Secret Art Prize mean to you?

A step up and recognition that I'm doing something that is vaguely worthwhile...?

Grotesque or beautiful? Both.

Urban or surreal? Surreal.

Planned or spontaneous? Hmmm planned.

Monochrome or rainbow? Monochrome.
