International Women's Day: Femme Fierce
With International Women’s Day landing this Sunday, it can only mean that it is time for Femme Fierce: Reloaded. Returning this year to Leake Street, let us celebrate the rise of women in street art this weekend. True to the spirit of Femme Fierce, the weekend will be in aid of female empowerment and the rights of girls to have an education; the campaign ‘Because I am a Girl’ seeks to put an end to violence against women and to raise the voices of girls for an equal society. With talks, guides and practical sessions, the weekend’s list of events is here to help you find your voice in the street art world.
Funded by a Kickstarter campaign, 150 international artist and UK based artists and writers will convene on London’s Leake Street, or Banksy Tunnel, to compete in the arena. Spray cans hissing all weekend will result in The All Female Street Art Group Show curated by The Street Art Agency and Earth Tone arts at Cre8 Gallery featuring BoxHead, Amara Por Dios, Zina, Artista, GOT (Girl's On Top crew), Stephanie Thieu.

Our very own Eleni Duke will be giving an interactive talk with Lee Button of Incandescent Artists and Bablu Miah of Trapped in Zone 1. Tickets £1 here .
