Our top 5 exhibitions to visit this week.

Posted on February 18, 2013

It's far too obvious for us to suggest you visit our Young Masters exhibition this half term (open Monday Friday 11:30 - 18:30, and Saturday 12:00 - 16:00), so we've pulled together our top 5 London shows to brighten your half term week.

1. Death: A Self-portrait

Closing this Sunday, we highly recommend a visit. A little on the dark side but with a healthy dose of humour. Tip: Look for the tiny finger saw.

3. Random International: Rain Room

Although a lengthy queue, it's perfect timing for an indoor picnic before experiencing indoor rain.  Also it's the perfect excuse to drop into see our Young Masters on Whitecross Street. Win - win situation.

Barbican Centre.

4. Film in Space: A groups show selected by Guy Sherwin.

When your local cinema doesn't quite cut it, Camden Arts Centre can offer you this exciting medley. Showcasing the expanded cinema movement from the 1970s, you can watch experimental film from Louisa Fairclough and Guy Sherwin himself.

5. Schwitters in Britain

Pun intended, you can find this pot of inspiration at Tate Britain (get it?) Looking over Kurt Schwitters collaged career, maybe you can pick up a few ideas to entertain your little ones this half term. And there is the Tate ferry to carry you to Tate Modern to quench your arty thirst.

Tate Britain

Now - 12th May
