Part of the artists ‘Africa and its diminishing world’ collection, ‘Drink Up’ portrays three Lionesses on watch & alert whilst drinking so majestically at the watering hole. Using a faded painting technique, Pearse has tried to capture the distressed circumstances in which these treasured subjects live whilst immortalising them in their colourful prime.
