'Linear Light' is a series of paintings that are not only concerned with light but also focus on the issue of 'electronic reproduction', and the way that an image inevitably changes on its journey from the camera, to the computer, to the printer and so forth. The ‘lines’ have at times been interpreted as 'bars', and this allows the viewer to secretly view and peer into the beautiful 'blurred' world beyond.
