Ana Mendieta: Traces
The Hayward gallery brings us the first major UK retrospective of the multi-disciplinary artist. From performance, photography and video, Mendieta uses her body to explore cultural displacement.

Marisa Merz 
Involved with Arte Povera, Merz's paintings and sculptures are heavily process based but feminine. Playful and absurd, her work makes for an exciting visit.

Sam Peacock: Unseen Landscape
CDG continues the series of solo shows with Sam Peacock. Steel sheets transformed through layers of paint, fire, scraped back and repeated to conjure far flung Australian landscapes. Definitely worth a visit. Read our interview with Sam here .

Fortean London: Magic, Mazes, Marshes and a curse on Eddie and The Hot Rods
Listen to stories, watch strange impressions of prehistoric beasts, and have a few bevvies; they also have board games. This evenings theme rests on just how confusing London can be with multiple histories living alongside each other from Victorian crime scenes and how a curse ended the career of a punk band.
