Bring Spring home; Buy Art

Posted on February 27, 2014

I do believe we're having a preview of spring, sadly we know it probably won't last very long with April showers still to come. But I have a suggestion; bring Spring home with art. Bright colours, bursting flowers, and taking long walks can all be with you at home in 2014.

Small Frames of reference #1

Emily Hannon

ï¿¡135

Mixed media on canvas

13x18cm

As new growth comes through and winter recedes, flower buds are starting to show and we can look forward to our walks to work becoming much brighter. But hang on there, you can have these perks all year round! Emily Hannon's delicate narratives of country lanes and dappled sunlight are awash with tenderness and luscious spring.

Canaries Chatting

Beth Nicholas

ï¿¡1300

Ink and liquid gold on fine art paper

42x60cm

Washes of gold work into the dreamy blue that stretches into sky, whilst two birds sit chirping at each other bringing you a chorus of new life and bright light to your mornings (no more dark mornings!). Need I say more?

The Tree House

Dan Rawlings

ï¿¡2450

Hand cut vintage wood saws

H 104 x D 7 x L 134 cm

Country walks needn't be long and muddy when you can take in the fresh air from home. I'm not condoning laziness, but honestly we're all busy. Recklessly playing on a rope swing or climbing into a hand crafted tree house may be your order of they day, but you might not have a garden, so I present to you Dan Rawlings beautiful vintage saws. Sunday afternoons at home on your wall from CDG.

Carnival Horses

Kareena Zerefos

ï¿¡20

Digital print, open edition

29x34cm

Wild horses won't keep you at home now that Spring is here? Well get yourself a mascot and remind yourself every day to take an adventure with Kareena Zerefos's delightful illustration.
