Who, or what is your greatest influence on your life and art?
For my art everyone, as most of my ideas come from seeing what is happening around me. On my life artists and entrepreneurs.
Who is your favourite artist at the moment?
Stik.
Describe a typical day in the studio in no more than 5 words.
Fun, distraction, fiddly, creative, network.
Spontaneity or planning?
Mostly planning, but when out shooting pictures spontaneity.
What do you do in the event of a creative block?
Panic, for a bit anyway. ‘People watching’ gives me a lot of ideas, and talking about stuff with friends and family.
Do you have a favourite piece of your own work?
Yes, every new piece I do.
What is the most challenging aspect of your work?
Weather. As all of my photography is in the streets and our weather isn’t the most amazing. Then probably Runners, who always seem to come really close to treading on the little people when out taking pictures.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
A recognised, respected and established artist, travelling the world creating new works and to have a ‘Roy’s People’ Gallery hosting exhibitions for other artists.
Please recommend one piece of essential reading.
Richard Branson- Losing My Virginity.

1920’s
Tea or Coffee?
TEA, with 2 sugars please
Who would be your dream dinner guest?
My Grandad, I never knew him.
What super power would you have for a day?
Talk to animals.
