I illustrate people in everyday life situations that have been examined, filtered, dissected and reassembled, often like a collage, with the intention of capturing the mood of the situation, or the feelings that the people are experiencing. My non-figurative paintings strive to express emotions and experiences but with the added freedom from representation. More ...

Much of my subject matter comes directly from my own life and is a comment on human nature and how we deal with everyday issues. I am primarily concerned with the notion of what it is to be human.

The work I produce is emotionally driven. Just to feel something that another human being is experiencing is the most important thing.
